Profile:
What can you say about Prak that has not been said before? Coolness personified in the MiB team with loads of attitude to spare, Prak is one of the most vocal members of our legendary football team and when the big man speaks, you better listen.

Any No.7 in any team has to be outstanding in his own right. Think Beckham, Ronaldo, Cantona and the list goes on. Though our No.7 is our first choice central defender when fit, I think we would be belittling his contribution to MiB FC if we said that our own “Becks” is not as influential as other more attacking-minded No.7s. As MiB’s unofficial dead-ball specialist, (we are still unsure it was because he had a good right foot or because he looks like someone really famous when striking the ball), Prak has chipped in with his fair share of goals from free-kicks and penalties. He has missed his fair share but then who hasn’t? To wear this prestigious number in any team brings a lot of pressure with it, and perhaps that is why when he does not live up to his high standards, it is so much easier to remember his shortcomings than someone else’s.
Prak lives and breathes MiB. As a friend he is always there to listen, talk to, hang out with and even take a punch for you. Eventhough he stays in Woodlands, which is not exactly the nearest place to the city centre where the Bishan-Toa Payoh Boys might be closer to, he is always one to regularly turn up for movies, dinners, pool and chit chat, no matter how small the group. I for one would like to give out a special mention to Prak for accompanying Kevin and I to “Looney Tunes Back in Action” at Plaza Sing, eventhough it was late, and the movie was, well, looney to say the least.

I think it is fair to say the Pirakash feels very strongly for his band of brothers in MiB and will rally round a member no matter how difficult the situation. Prak is the kind of guy that when you’re in a tough corner and need someone to back you up, then you know he is there to lend more than his fair share of the weight. A committed and dedicated team-mate on the pitch, you know you are going to get 100% from “Praks” whether you are playing a match or tournament. Perhaps his greatest moment came when he scored 2 goals in the Final of the 2006 Rotaract Cup Tournament which led us to our first title after a barren spell of coming in close Seconds in many a battle.

One of the founding members of MiB back in SJI, Prak is and will continue to be a huge presence in the team, on and off the pitch. He will always be associated with his black cap and “bounce-walk”, and also his silky dance moves on the dance-floor.
I think the best word to describe Prak would be to say he is the “rock” of MiB, a true, firm, solid member of the team that is going to be there for you, come rain, or shine.
