Champions League Predictions..
So here we go.. Its the 2nd round wit some mouth-watering fixtures coming up. All the English teams have difficult games but it wouldn't be the Champions League if not for the glamour ties rite? So here are my predictions for the first leg only, and I have separated my guesses into head (more rational) and heart (from a personal view). Sorry I'm not using a nickname like mr happy ending like my friend RI*VI, I wont say who ok?
Man United vs Inter
Head: 1-2
Heart: 0-2
Atletico Madrid vs Porto
Head and Heart: 2-1
Arsenal vs Roma
Head: 3-0
Heart: 3-1
Lyon vs Barcelona
Head: 1-2
Heart: 1-1
Real Madrid vs Liverpool
Head: 2-1
Heart: 0-1
Chelsea vs Juve
Head: 2-1
Heart: 1-1
Villa vs Panathinaikos (It's villareal but come on guys all of us can dream can't we?)
Head and Heart: 2-0 (6-0 if heskey playing)
Sporting lisbon vs Bayern
Head and Heart: 1-2

NTU Tournament
Ok guys here are the details for the tournament:
Date: 7th march (Fico Sports Hub) & 8th March (knock out stage, at Ngee Ann City)
Cost: $7 per person ( I suggest take from MiB fund, for those who haven't settled their debts, please do so)
Gear: Jerseys provided, I will try to get black for us. Black shorts, boots for Fico, street soccer shoes for Ngee Ann. Bring MiB white and yellow jerseys in case of color clash.
First prize: $1000. You think too hard to get? Well, its organized by NTU so the competition will not be as good as you can imagine. At time of writing they are still looking for teams so you can imagine.

The team selected is based on form, playing regularly, availability and injury status.
This is a tournament that is winnable but it is not gonna be easy cos a lot of us haven't played together much and fitness will always be an issue now that people are working. If you can squeeze 30 mins of jogging/running into your schedule 3 times a week till 7th march, that will be a great benefit to yourself and to the team. On top of that, we need to play regularly, so please keep 22nd February and 1st March free for kick about. Sat can you get either Tampines SAFRA or Fico so we can get used to it.
For now, Maran, Riz, Prak, PP have not yet smsed me their particulars: ic number, date of birth, jersey size. Please do so NOW. Thanks.

URGENT!!!
K guys two tournaments have been brought to my attention:
1. Vietnamese Society of NUS organising Futsal tournament at NUS hard courts. Registration closes very soon. Its $30 dollars per team, can register up to 14. But only 6 a side I think. First prize $150. Tournament date is end February.
2. RHB-NTU goal for fund 2009. 5 a side tournament at Fico sports hub. 2 reserves. Registration is $77 per team ie. $11 per person. It includes 1 goodie bag and jersey per player. Date of tournament is 7th March 2009, and knock out stages on 8th March 2009 at NGEE ANN CITY, Orchard Road. First prize is $1000. I seriously like the sound of this one.
