Minds Cafe Outing with the WaGs

Once again, thank you all agents and gfs that came yesterday to make the outing a success. It was a record turnout for MiB with Harvey, SK, PP (oops I mean Navin), Sat, Rooban, Puvan and Vana all bringing their girlfriends down. Of course not forgetting Riz, Maran and Prak who were good sport and we hope to see you bring someone in the near future.

Sat if Dhash has the photos from Minds do pass them to me so I can upload them here.

Second, Puvan's gf Suba is opening up her house on Friday the 13th of February. All are invited and that includes WaGs too. Further details to be confirmed soon but do mark that date down in your diary. We can probably bring some board games and even rent a couple if need be.

MiB and WaGs Outing

Hey guys, I was thinking we should get together on the 30th of January 2009, Friday, for dinner, games and drinks with our WaGs. We can also celebrate SK's return and Vana's coming home too. And it will be just before Anan leaves again so just nice.

I was thinking meet abt 7pm at Minds at Boat Quay, play until about 10plus, then head over to Clarke Quay for drinks. Anyone have better suggestions? Actually the place where you guys had dinner on New Year's Eve looks good too. That can be an alternative.

But for now, I need to confirm the number. So far me and PP are the only ones confirmed with our gfs. Can the rest please respond? And the single guys are also most welcome. If you bring someone, the rest of us foot the bill. The offer is still on.

Can someone tell me who these guys are? 

MiB FC has come a long way. So long, that we can't even recognize who we were when we started. How many changes have we seen over the last 12 years? And how many more are we looking forward to?

Marriage and Full-Time employment.... How did we become a bunch of phuddy duddies who don't seem to know how to have fun?

Well it was inevitable my friend Big Daddy tells me, life had to move on. But deep in my heart i was shocked. There was a part of me that expected us to still devote every day to soccer, to go to Esso tiger mart and chow down a hot-dog, to go to movies in a big group and irritate everyone...

Sigh.

Long gone. Instead, we have become serious gentlemen. Men who work hard everyday. Men who would no longer run around in the rain chasing after a ball. Men who at 11pm says, "Sorry guys... i feel sleepy."

 So what now MiB? What are we going to do about this sad state of affairs? Will we finally remove the FC from our names?

I know i am being emo... but i did warn you. This year is also going to be a tough one for me. Plastic Bags have been identified as bad for the environment. I don't know how much longer i will be able to hold my head high.

2009... It is a hugely significant year. I have a feeling its the year that MiB will finally become what we are meant to be. What that is no one knows... but we all know deep down, its going to be something great.
